2022 Violin Camp with Destiny

Violin Camp with Destiny: A FUN intensive of all things violin! Students will have the chance to collaborate in an ensemble, receive personalized solo training and daily chamber music coachings from Destiny Ann Mermagen & UMKC Professor Michael Mermagen. They will also participate in masterclasses and perform in a final concert.

We are thrilled to announce world-renowned violinist Hilary Hahn as our Zoom Guest Speaker kicking off our first day of Violin Camp with Destiny!

We are thrilled to announce international violin soloist & chamber musician Christina Bouey as our Zoom Guest Speaker this year!

Christina is currently serving as concertmaster of the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra, and is a member/founder of the Ulysses String Quartet. She plays the 1728 “Artot” Stradivarius on generous loan from the Juilliard School.

Requirements:

  • Fill Out the Form Below

  • Students must be in grades 9-12 as of Fall 2022

  • Submit a 5 minute or less video of yourself playing your current solo piece to
    destiny@destinyviolin.com by Sunday, May 22nd. You may also send a private YouTube link.
    (does not need to be memorized & can be a work in progress)

  • Tuition is $300 & due upon submission of this form. You will be redirected to a payment page.

  • Students will receive full refunds if they can no longer attend camp.

Monday, June 20th: 9:15 am -12:00 pm
Tuesday, June 21st: 9:15 am -12:00 pm
Wednesday, June 22nd: 9:15 am -12:00 pm
Thursday, June 23rd: 9:15 am -12:00 pm
Thursday, June 23rd: Final Concert @ 6:30 pm

***All events take place at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, PVKS 66208.


Note: Tuition includes one hour-long private lesson (prior to camp) with Destiny to go over camp music.
